There are indications that President Trump may end the DACA program.  These are rumors and nothing has been confirmed. When, where and how this will happen is unknown.  However, we do know that Res. Trump has shown to support white supremacists in Charlottesville and also pardoned the Apraio who abused his power and was found to conduct massive racial profiling in Arizona.
The one thing we can do is to work on urging our U.S. Senators to pass the bipartisan and newly introduced DREAM Act.  Please take action today as we continue to chart uncertain territory with the future of the DACA program.
Also, you can start NOW working with us on the 2018 elections.  We are working on local elections and registering voters to get out to vote.  Please contact to volunteer for these efforts.
There is a lot going on regarding immigration and you need to stay engaged.  Please stay up to date with us on the latest actions and information.

Please join our advocacy efforts by joining our texting campaign.  The image to the right is our latest way to engage with our supporters in a timely manner and make our efforts more effective.  Please stay engaged by texting the word IMMIGRATION to the short code number 864-237.  This will add you to our texting program to ensure we speak up at needed times.

Lastly, please consider the GALEO Latino Community Development Fund as you prioritize your annual donations.  Please follow the link here:

Days of Action: Raise Your Voice Against the RAISE Act

CRSA members met with the staff of Senator David Perdue to discuss his co-sponsorship of S. 354, the RAISE Act. This bill aims to cut legal forms of immigration in half over the next ten years. It will do this in multiple ways:
  • Limits refugee arrivals to 50,000 per year.
  • Reduces the number of family-sponsored immigrants allowed, cutting the list of family ties to only include spouses and unmarried children.
  • Ends the diversity visa program, which welcomes 50,000 new Americans annually.
We need you to help convince Senator Perdue to remove his name from co-sponsorship of this anti-welcoming bill!
Call Today: (844) 749-7985

Please take a moment today to call Senator Perdue’s office to ask him to remove his name from this bill. Remind him that you want to keep Georgia, and the United States, as a welcoming place for all refugees and immigrants.
