Register to VOTE!  You can do so from our main page on our website all day, 24 hours.  www.GALEO.org.

We will also be at the following places promoting the #GALatinoVote!

8:00 am – 9:30 AM:  Jerry Gonzalez, Executive Director of GALEO, will be on-air at Vida 95.6 FM, Spanish Christian radio to promote voter registration and educate voters about their options to vote.

10:00 AM:  Alejandro Ramirez, Program Coordinator for GALEO, will be at the ProGeorgia Press Conference at the State Capitol promoting news attention to the national day to register to vote.

Keynote Speaker: Richard Blanco, President Obama’s 2013 Inaugural Poet

Richard Blanco (born February 15, 1968) is an American poet, public speaker, author and civil engineer. The fifth poet to read at an inauguration, he was the inaugural poet for Barack Obama’s second inauguration. He is the first immigrant, the first Latino, the first openly gay person and the youngest person to be the U.S. inaugural poet.
