Cherilyn Munoz was born in Brooklyn, New York, and as been raised in Douglasville, Georgia. She is currently attending Georgia State University as a Goizueta scholar who is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Nonprofit Leadership.
Cherilyn loves to volunteer her time at the SafeHouse Outreach in order to help her Atlanta community. She also volunteers as a teacher at her local church. She is involved in various organizations at Georgia State University to advocate for change and educating her communities such as the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People).
Cherilyn plans to bring communities together and put her efforts and passion for Education in creating change for all of them.
