ATLANTA, GA <\/strong>\u2013 Recently, Georgia Trend Magazine named Jerry Gonzalez, CEO of GALEO and GALEO Impact Fund, as one of the \u201c100 Most Influential Georgians in 2022 for the tenth time due to his continued contributions to the well-being of the Latinx-Hispanic community and other marginalized individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art Gambill, chair of the board for GALEO, stated that \u201cOn behalf of GALEO\u2019s Board of Directors, we congratulate Jerry for being recognized as one of Georgia\u2019s 100 Most Influential Georgians. GALEO has continued expanding and increasing Latinx voter participation and civic engagement under Jerry\u2019s leadership. We are proud of Jerry and excited about his continued leadership in our community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GALEO and GALEO Impact Fund staff celebrate Jerry Gonzalez and his nomination. \u201cUnder Jerry\u2019s leadership, we have exceeded all of our goals during the past year. We worked to increase voter participation in the Latinx community, educate communities about the benefits of vaccination, fight for our rights, and train Latinx and Hispanic leaders. I believe that our good work will continue in 2020 with Jerry\u2019s leadership,\u201d stated Jenifer Chow, Program Manager for Civic Engagement at GALEO. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
