Naira Abrahamyan (She/Her/Ella) is a Development Intern at GALEO Latino Community Development Fund. Naira is an international student from Armenia currently enrolled in the Master of Public Administration program at Georgia State University. She has a Master of Arts degree in Languages from her home country. 

Naira has extensive experience in project coordination and communications at Habitat for Humanity Armenia.  Within her different roles at Habitat, she hosted and managed international and local volunteer projects, raised awareness about Habitat for Humanity Armenia’s programs and solutions for safe, affordable and energy-efficient housing. Naira also supported fundraising efforts by collecting information and preparing regular updates for the organization’s target audiences. In her last role at Habitat, Naira coordinated a USAID-funded project aimed at improving residential energy efficiency in multi-apartment buildings. Naira has also volunteered abroad leading and participating in house building trips. 

Currently, Naira is a graduate marketing assistant at Career Services and Alumni Relations at Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, Georgia State University where she helps to promote the events and initiatives intended to enhance students’ experiences. After graduation, Naira looks forward to making a difference in the lives of those in need.
