Isa Cardona (she/they) is our Summer 2022 Communications Intern for GALEO. She is Colombian-American and is currently studying to gain a B.S. in Literature, Media, and Communications at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is very passionate about storytelling. She wants people to have an outlet to tell their stories and promote positive change. She loves that media is multifaceted and the ability to reach a wide range of people, and she wants to use that ability to educate and amplify the voices of others. That is why she wants to combine her passions for journalism and community outreach into a career in public health at the CDC.
