Brenda Marquez is a first-generation Mexican-American student. She is 
pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at the University of California, Merced. She has an
interest in social work and she is passionate about working to help others, especially the Latinx
community.

I also enjoy baking, reading, and exercising.
