Laura Hernandez ( she/her) is originally from Mexico City and is pursuing a bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and Law Studies at Delaware State University.

Her passions include advocacy and Public Policy. This stems from a mix of her background as an immigrant, first-generation student, and professional experiences that have motivated her to pursue this work. She aspires to become a lawyer someday and use her skills to combat social justice issues, particularly in the Latinx Community. A quote resonates with Laura: “They tried to bury us, but they didn’t know we were seeds.”

Outside of school and work, she enjoys shopping and running.
