Elizabeth Lora (she/her) is a first-generation Mexican American born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and International Affairs from the University of Georgia, along with a minor in Latin American and Caribbean Studies. Throughout college, Elizabeth dedicated herself to public service and civic engagement, serving in leadership roles on campus and working with organizations that advocate for immigrant communities. Her passion for civic participation stems from her own experiences growing up in a Mexican household and witnessing the importance of empowering Latino communities through education, advocacy, and representation. As a Community Organizer at GALEO, Elizabeth is committed to building meaningful relationships, increasing civic engagement, and ensuring Latino voices are heard across Georgia. In her free time, she enjoys exploring local coffee shops, reading, traveling, staying active, and spending time with her family and friends.
