Your Gift helps us fulfill our mission of to increase civic participation of the Latino Community and to develop prominent Latino leaders throughout the state of Georgia. GALEO strives for a better Georgia where the Latino community is engaged civically, and its contributions and concerns are recognized. Recognized for superior performance by leading independent charity watchdog groups, 88 percent of GALEO’s expenditures go directly to our programs.

GALEO is supported by individuals, organizations, businesses, and corporations who believe in supporting the state’s growing Latinx community and the mission of increased civic engagement of the Latinx community. This is accomplished by becoming a GALEO Member. Membership is open to Companies and Individuals who want to support our efforts in the Latinx community.
BECOME AN AMIGO DE LA COMUNIDAD (Friend of the Community):
Give a recurring gift and help further help the Latinx community in Georgia. Supporters who give monthly are automatically members of GALEO. Recurring gifts makes giving easy and allows us to better project anticipated donations to the organization. Donations are withdrawn automatically via electronic check or credit card transactions. Every contribution, regardless of amount, is significant to the work and mission of GALEO.

NON-CASH GIFTS (IN KIND)
Donations of goods and services, also known as in-kind gifts, are extremely valuable to GALEO. In-kind gifts can be made by individuals, organizations, or corporations. DONOR-ADVISED FUNDS
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving vehicle that allows you to make a charitable contribution and then recommend grants over time from the fund to support your preferred causes, like GALEO. Donor-advised funds can easily be set up through a community foundation or financial institutions such as Fidelity, Vanguard, and others. We are experienced in working with all types of DAF hosts.

LEGACY GIFTS
Did you know that you can support GALEO’s future by adding us to your will? A planned gift is any major gift, made during your lifetime or at death, as part of your overall financial and/or estate planning. When you gift stocks and other securities directly to a charity, you make an outsized impact without taking money directly out of your bank account. Plus, neither you nor the charity will be taxed on the gains for appreciated assets you donate.

We suggest the following language in order to make a bequest to GALEO.
Sample Bequest Language for Wills:
I give [cash of $_________] or [specified property] to GALEO (EIN 20-1565775), to be used for its general purposes.
Wills or Living Trusts
Trusts and wills are another option for planned giving. Your assets are not tied up now yet you may rest assured that they will benefit our Latinx Community in the future.
