GALEO Leadership Council
Lead. Educate. Inspire.
Develop your leadership skills and support the Latinx community in Georgia.
The GALEO Leadership Council (GLC) is a council tailored for GALEO Institute for Leadership (GIL) alumni or GALEO members. Our purpose is to support GALEO’s mission of increased civic engagement and leadership development of the Latino community. GLC supports GALEO through our team’s advocacy and civic engagement projects.
GLC meets on the second Tuesday of each month to discuss advocacy and leadership development projects. Currently, we’re meeting remotely via Zoom due to the pandemic. We offer:
- Networking with other local Latinx leaders and professionals.
- A safe space for individuals who are passionate about the same things, such as social justice and Latinx issues.
- GLC members get discounted prices for tickets to GALEO events.
- Opportunities to enter in winning swag or prizes through GLC, such as gift card raffles.
Our purpose is to encourage people passionate about Latinx issues to come together to lead efforts on social issues.
If you are a GIL or GALEO member, you can join GLC today!
