Elizabeth Scott
DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
Elizabeth Scott (She/Her/Ella) is the Development Director of GALEO Latino Community Development Fund and the GALEO Impact Fund who lives in Atlanta, Georgia. Elizabeth graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Georgia State’s Andrew Young School of Public Policy with a Masters of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management. Prior to joining GALEO/GALEO Impact Fund, she was with Operation Homefront as their Area Manager – Region 5 East – covering Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Mississippi. In this role, Elizabeth supported military families and led her team to achieve and exceed their goals. Before this position, she worked at TechBridge, where she planned and implemented the Digital Ball, which raised over $1 million. Additionally, Elizabeth has worked at League of Women Voters of Georgia, StandUp For Kids- National, and Voices of Note. She is a member of the Georgia Center for Nonprofits Leadership Group – Emerges – Class of 2021. Elizabeth is on the board of Voices of Note and has previously served on the board of Day League and League of Women Voters of Georgia. With over fifteen years of experience, Elizabeth works to create a better world.
