Maria Fernanda Vizcaino-Garcia
PROGRAM COORDINATOR FOR LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Maria Fernanda Vizcaino Garcia graduated magna cum laude from Kennesaw State University in 2018- something she initially did not believe would be possible as a DACA recipient. She majored in Political Science and minored in International Affairs at the School of Government and International Affairs. Before transitioning to GALEO, Maria worked as a paralegal for 6 years. As a former member of the 2021 GIL cohort, she was inspired to pursue a Master’s in Public Administration. As of Spring 2022, she is enrolled in Georgia State University’s nationally recognized MPA program.
